About The Site
The Lockhart Hawks wanted a site to match their new branding which has a vintage rag-tag feel while allowing them to connect with their fans and other sandlot teams.

Using a distressed primary font and mono supporting font along with dusty overlays and a Central Texas-inspired color palette, they were able to get the effortlessly cool vibe they were looking for without sacrificing any important details.
Hawks Home Page
The home page of the Hawks’ site features hero image photography from team photographer Paul Rockwood along with information about the team and sponsorships, plus some fun baseball card easter eggs designed by me.
Hawks Contact Page
The contact page is simple with 2 main calls to action - ask a question or help the team. A simple form allows for all communication to be directed straight to the team inbox.
Hawks Game Details Page
In order to keep a consistent look to the game details pages, I created game flyer images for the season that all fit within the brand. Each even allows the user to add the event to their Google Calendar or download to their phone calendar through ICS.
Hawks Calendar Page
The calendar page on the site makes it easy for fans to see upcoming games in a visual format and click to view more details on each particular game.
