SXSW x Sesame Street Badges
About The Design
I was asked to create some fun faux badges for 2025’s SXSW & Sesame Street collaboration for each of the muppets that would be visiting the festival.
This was a great opportunity to let my imagination (and arts & crafts skills) run wild! I used the Platinum badge designs I produced for 2025 and added in key elements for each of the characters. I also fabricated the badges with laminate, gaff tape, and various lanyard materials. The badges were sized to the muppets which was a fun detail.

Meet The Muppets
This was the first time in my life that I’d heard about the ongoing infighting between Elmo & Rocco, so to push things a little, I added “Not Just a Rock” to Rocco’s badge, just to get under Elmo’s skin a little. The brand played off this silly joke and made it a part of their social strategy for the event.
