About The Design
The SXSW Merch truck is a rolling brand advertisement and travels all over SXSW during the festival.
To create an engaging and inviting design, I wrapped the key art around the vehicle in a way that transitioned between daytime & sunset so it was a completely cohesive design viewed from any angle.

There are challenges with a mobile piece of art - there are no parts that remain hidden, people are viewing the piece from a number of angles, and it needs to remain solid from every viewpoint. With this fully seamless design, it looks great no matter where the viewer is in relation to the vehicle.
