About the logo
The Progress Rural Enrichment Project was developed in 2020 to help advocate for individuals and families in low-income districts.
The PREP team wanted a logo that was simple and bold, that signified upward growth backed by data without being too heavy-handed or “cutesy”. The upward arrow signifies that trajectory and gives the viewer a sense of “wayfinding”, letting them know the organization is working on leading people in the right direction.
The Journey To The Logo
We went through several iterations of logos with a focus on data-driven action and ultimately settled on a simple design that evokes a sense of direction and positive growth. To stand out from the saturated tech market, I went with a bold, contrasting color palette, denoting strength, history, and an ability to stay modern and with the times.
