About the logo

Austin Border Relief was founded to connect volunteers to groups helping asylum seekers on the southern border.

The client wanted a logo that showed open spaces and gave a sense of hope, along with traditional south Texas iconography. Using the Rio Grande to point to the history of immigration to Texas from Mexico heading into the sunset, along with the openness and light color palette, this logo embodies freedom and a happy ending.
