SXSW Volunteer Manager Patches

About The Design

To celebrate Volunteer Managers who come back to SXSW year after year, I created a suite of embroidered patch artwork for various volunteer milestones.

The Volunteer Staffing team had a loose idea of some of the imagery they wanted to include, but most importantly wanted the patches to represent different aspects of the event, while remaining ADA friendly in relation to color contrast ratios for the visually impaired.

Each patch utilizes a different arrangement of colors from the 9-color palette and represents comedy, tech, music, and film for Volunteer Managers working from their 1st year to their 35th!
