Business Card • Paul Rockwood Photography

About The Design

For Paul’s photography business, he wanted a card that was easily readable and had all of his contact info front & center.

A photo viewfinder frame adds a graphic element without being overkill, with the focus dot acting as an informational separation mark.

Using: Illustrator

Card Back

The back of Paul’s card features his website and gives social and contact info again to reduce flipping. A QR code quickly allows people to visit his website for super-easy contact and portfolio viewing.

Other Card Options

When designing Paul’s card, I wanted to incorporate photography elements without making it too kitschy. In Alternate 1, I used a photo shutter to stand in for the O in Rockwood, while a flash symbol separates email and phone in Alternate 2. Both feature simple font treatments and digestible at-a-glance information.
